POOD started in our family kitchen with a simple dream: make nutritious food that people actually love to eat. Joom, our co-founder and chef, discovered her passion for cooking through her family’s love of food. Her journey from engineering to culinary arts taught her that the best food combines both precision and heart. She spent years perfecting spirulina recipes that taste amazing, not medicinal.
Vishal, our co-founder, grew up struggling with digestive issues and food sensitivities. He knows firsthand how hard it can be to find nutritious food that doesn’t cause discomfort. His personal journey inspired him to help create superfoods that are gentle, nourishing, and delicious—food that makes you feel good, inside and out. Together, we’re a small family team with big dreams of sharing our love for nutrition with others.
Our mission is simple: prove that healthy food can taste incredible. We start with spirulina because it’s one of nature’s most complete foods—packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals. But we don’t stop there. We’re constantly dreaming up new ways to make nutrition exciting, colorful, and fun. One day, we hope our little Bangkok kitchen can share these creations with families around the world, showing that you never have to choose between health and happiness.
